Brothers, we Men of God are many things; first and foremost a child of God, Priest of our home, husband, father, son, mentor, friend, all of these things and more. As we walk in our faith each day, do we do our best to be the man that God would have us be? You've heard the expression "There is strength in numbers", spending time in fellowship with other men can reap many rewards. Each of us brings unique strengths and virtues through our life experiences and God given talents.
We learn from and mentor one another, sometimes without even knowing it. You may discover that the challenges you face in life are not unique, that others have faced them and can help you avoid some of the pitfalls. Others things you might learn are; how to be a better witness, or dealing with a teenager, overcoming adversity, and what man wouldn't want to have better communication with his spouse, There are many examples of what it is to truly be a Man of God.
The Men’s Ministry meets the first Saturday of every month for a time of fellowship and breaking of bread.
As a new fellowship we are encouraging those who feel called to help in the development of a strong men’s ministry to pray about what the Lord would have them do. Then print and fill out the CCDV Ministry Team Questionnaire and turn it in to one of the leadership.
Please join us on the first Saturday of every month at 8:30am in the Church Fellowship Hall, 28 Enterprise Way, in Dayton.
