Have you ever noticed how hard it is to stay on the right track. It’s like every time you get going in the right direction life just reaches up and knocks you off center and you end up skidding out of control.
We see this happen over and over again. No one is exempt from the fickle finger of fate. But in the life of the
believer it’s different because we have a promise from God.
We have been given a helper that knows what to pray for even when we don’t.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
So the Spirit of God makes intercession for us even when we are overwhelmed and don’t have a clue what we should pray. So in times when life’s circumstances fail to make sense we can take comfort in knowing that God sees all and knows all. He is right there for us and with us. We can also take comfort in knowing that if we love the Lord, what we go through, will become a “what we grow through” and bring glory to God.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Dear saint look for the glory of God even in the tough times. He knows what you are going through. He has a plan to bring you into His glory and to show a side of His love that you could not have imagined without the hardship.
